Rochester Equipment Leasing was founded in 1992 with one major goal: to provide our customers and vendors with unsurpassed service while maintaining competitive rates. REL was formerly known as Patora Leasing Company, a division of the Upstate National Bank. In October of 1998, William R. Jones & Gregory A. Lefebre purchased the leasing division back from the Upstate National Bank, renaming the company, Rochester Equipment Leasing, Inc.

Gregory A. Lefebre, CEO, is a graduate of Alfred State College and the University of NY at Brockport. Gregory is originally from Victor, NY and is a third generation business owner in Rochester, NY. Gregory was the original National Sales Manager at the company’s inception and was also an Assistant Vice President at the Upstate National Bank.

Rochester Equipment Leasing is a national lessor of all types of new and used equipment, as well as office furniture. Rochester Equipment Leasing has its own private funds as well as a number of lenders that it represents. Besides equipment leasing, REL also has sources for: Working Capital Loans for Medical Professionals, Vehicle Leases & Loans for Businesses, SBA Loans, Accounts Receivable Financing and Commercial Mortgages. Rochester Leasing has over 600 past customers in almost every one of the 50 United States.

Rochester Leasing is a member of the NAELB & Rochester Business Alliance. REL also sponsors many different groups and charities: Geva Theatre, Benincasa Hospice, Cystic Fibrosis & the Pirate Toy Fund.
